Why should I invest in a Floor Plan?

Floor plans are an excellent marketing tool for Vancouver  realtors when it comes to selling properties. Our plans can be uploaded onto websites, MLS, or distributed as handouts during open houses.  As well, floor plans are crucial for engineers, architects and contractors who are overseeing renovation and design projects.

What kind of properties do you measure for Floor Plans?

We measure everything from condominiums to lofts, houses to town homes, as well as commercial and retail properties.

What kinds of Floor Plan products do you offer?

  • FLOOR PLANS We provide floor plans that are accurate, attractive and to scale. They illustrate the relationship between a structure’s rooms, spaces, physical features and levels. A floor plan is one of the most effective marketing tools for Vancouver realtors. On average, prospective homeowners visit over 10 properties per weekend so recalling details of a property’s layout can be difficult, if not impossible. To solve this problem for realtors, we create floor plans that can be printed for distribution at your open house, uploaded onto your website or MLS Realty page, and/or used as a layout tool to pick furniture that fits during the home staging process.
  • FLOOR PLAN SUMMARY This is suitable if you don’t need a full floor plan but simply require the important information contained in a floor plan. In this case, we can provide you with a floor plan summary that includes the dimensions for every room as well as the total square footage of the property. This is ideal for Vancouver realtors who just want key details for MLS Realty pages. As well, a floor plan summary is an economical alternative to a full floor plan.
  • AS-BUILT DRAWINGS This is a more detailed service offering for architects, engineers and contractors who need AS-BUILT drawings for construction, design and renovation purposes. This package can include the following:
  • Floor plans
  • Roof plans
  • Interior & Exterior Elevations
  • Building Sections
  • *Site Plans (*A site survey is required from the client for a site plan)

I’m a new realtor. What if I want my Floor Plan to stand out from other Vancouver realtors to build my business?

No problem. Along with our standard template, we also custom design floor plans at no extra charge. It’s a great option for any new or established realtor looking to brand their business and create a competitive edge.

How does your Floor Plan process work?

First you schedule an appointment with our office; then we will send one of our floor plan technicians to your property. The technician calculates measurements using a Leica Laser device with an accuracy of 1/10th of an inch over 650 feet. Measurements are conveyed accurately and quickly. Once we’ve sketched and measured your property, we complete the draft using AutoCAD. All of our drawings meet BOMA or ANSI standards and we are O & E insured.

How soon will I receive my completed Floor Plan?

We understand the need for a quick turnaround. Your floor plan will be delivered to you via email by the end of the next business day as a PDF, JPEG, or both.

How long does it take to measure a property?

We need approximately 1 hour per 1200 square feet. For example, if your property is 3,000 square feet, we’ll need approximately 2.5 hours to measure your property.

What areas do you service?

We provide Floor Plan Measurement services for all of Vancouver and surrounding areas along with the areas listed below for an additional travel fee:

Vancouver: No Charge

Aldergrove: $30 travel fee

Abbotsford: $50 travel fee

Pitt Meadows / Maple Ridge: $40 travel fee

Whistler: $150 travel fee (As Built Drawings Only from May to Sept.)

Squamish: $90 travel fee (As Built Drawings Only from May to Sept.)
